Lahore – Nankana Sahib – Kartarpur

Drive to Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Visits include Gurdwara Janam Asthan (Nankana Sahib), where you stand at the cradle of Sikhism, and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib (Kartarpur Sahib), where you pay homage at Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s final resting place and spiritual sanctuary.

Evening Stay: Dinner and overnight at the Gurdwara guest house in Nankana Sahib.

Breakfast at the guest house.

Drive: Depart for Gujranwala with a short rest stop en route.

Visits include the Birthplace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the Birthplace of General Hari Singh Nalwa, tracing the roots of the Sikh Empire’s legendary leadership.

Lunch: Traditional restaurant in Gujranwala.

Evening transfer: Continue drive to Islamabad with a rest stop on the way. Arrival in Islamabad, dinner, and overnight stay in Islamabad.

Breakfast at the guest house.

Departure: Post-breakfast drive to Hasan Abdal. Visits include Gurdwara Panja Sahib, where you behold the divine handprint of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and the Tomb of Akali Phula Singh in Nowshera, honoring the martial valor of a revered Sikh general and religious leader.

Dinner and stay: Gurdwara Panja Sahib Guest House.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive: Journey to the historic Jamrud Fort, gateway to the fabled Khyber Pass. Explore its strategic importance in Sikh and regional defense history.

Lunch: Enjoy traditional Pashtun hospitality in Peshawar.

Return: Drive back to Islamabad with a tea break en route.

Drive: Head toward Lahore with a stop at Eminabad.

Visit: Gurdwara Rohri Sahib, a cherished site visited by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Lunch: Eminabad.

Evening return: Continue journey to Lahore. Dinner and overnight stay in Lahore.

Visits include Lahore Fort, once the throne of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, showcasing Mughal grandeur and Sikh royal heritage. Pay respects at the Tomb of Hazrat Mian Mir, a revered Sufi saint closely connected with Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Explore Kharak Singh’s Haveli inside Lahore Fort, a reminder of 19th-century Sikh nobility.

Continue to the Princess Bamba Museum to discover personal artifacts of the last heir of the Sikh Empire, reflecting royal legacy. Visit the Sikh Gallery at Lahore Museum to view artworks, weaponry, and ceremonial treasures of the Sikh Empire.

Optional evening: Dinner at Food Street (Fort Road), offering a cultural dining experience in a historic setting.

Visits include Fakir Khana Museum, one of South Asia’s oldest private museums with Sikh-era relics. Continue to Haveli of Nau Nihal Singh, a well-preserved example of Sikh architecture. Visit Gurdwara Bhai Taru Singh Ji, a monument of faith and martyrdom, and Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Singh Singhania, a historic site linked to the Chhota Ghallughara (Small Holocaust).

Lunch in Lahore, followed by a visit to Gurdwara Dera Sahib, where Guru Arjan Dev Ji achieved martyrdom. Continue to the Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, a tribute to the Lion of Punjab.

Evening return: Dinner and overnight stay in Lahore.
