10 Days Sikh Yatra
The 10-day Sikh Yatra in Pakistan is a spiritual and cultural journey that takes devotees through significant Sikh historical sites across the country, particularly in the Punjab region. Starting with visits to Gurdwaras (Sikh temples) such as Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak, and continuing to other sacred locations like the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, where Guru Nanak spent his final years, the Yatra offers a profound connection to Sikh heritage. Pilgrims also visit sites like Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal and the Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore, where Guru Arjan Dev Ji was martyred. The Yatra provides an opportunity for Sikhs from around the world to celebrate their faith, heritage, and history, while fostering cross-cultural understanding and peace between Pakistan and India. The journey includes prayers, cultural exchanges, and the sharing of stories of Sikh Gurus, making it an enriching experience for participants.
